The goals and objectives of the union are simple: to enhance development and improve standard of living for Owerri people through OPU yearly medical mission to heal the sick and less privileged, work with the LGA chairmen to ensure that federal grants to the areas are judiciously spent, re-vitalize infrastructures and engage in constructive political processes.
